The VS-88HDxl is a high-performance 8x8 matrix switcher for SDI signals of standard (SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M) and high resolutions (SMPTE 292M), dual-channel signals (SMPTE 372M) and 3G HD-SDI signals (SMPTE 424M). When synchronized digital video sources are used switching is performed in the vertical blanking interval in accordance with the SMPTE RP-168 standard.
