The VP-553xl is a dual scaler for 3xHDMI, 3xHDBaseT, 2xCV, 2xVGA, 2xTP (DGKat) signals to two signal groups (HDMI + HDBaseT, HDMI) with a built-in 4x1 USB switcher (independent or shared video switching). The unit has 8 stereo audio inputs (including 1 balanced line / microphone input with switchable phantom power) and 2 balanced stereo outputs (monitor and line). It is possible to transmit RS-232 control signals over HDBaseT from a controller connected to the scaler; the unit is also transparent for IR signals transmitted over HDBaseT between receivers and transmitters. The scaler is controlled via IR, RS-232 and using the web interface.
